As the undisputed leader of creative solutions for design professionals, Adobe has consistently delivered powerful tools for individual digital artists to teams of creative professionals in large enterprises. Adobe recognized the need to extend this value to a broader set of business users in large cross functional organizations. Adobe was interested in better understanding the needs of these business users with an eye toward helping them tell more persuasive stories and collaborate with their peers — ultimately delivering value where they are.
UX Research Process
To do this, Adobe worked with Proximity Lab to help build a vision for integrated enterprise-focused journeys. Our team worked with senior product leaders to reflect product roadmap, go to market considerations and long-term business strategy while surveying existing and prospective enterprise users to understand current needs and challenges. These activities culminated with a series of vision-oriented experiences that highlighted real-world business use cases and showcased modern collaboration throughout the enterprise.
After developing initial experiences for brand designers, marketing managers, and sales directors, Proximity Lab validated these design concepts with potential users and evolved the early concepts into more refined workflows. The resulting experiences helped align product teams and identified new areas of integration with existing and potential product partners. Notably, this vision design work was central to acquisition discussions between Adobe and Workfront and helped leadership teams from both organizations understand the combined value of their offering.
